Howard R. Webster is a globally published photographer, writer and award nominated director. His work has been published in magazines as diverse as the Sunday Times Magazine, the Irish Times Magazine and Russian Vogue. Just a few of the famous faces he has photographed include Sir Ian McKellen, Terrence Howard, Camilla Belle, Ben Barnes, John Hurt, Terry Gilliam, Jonny Lee Miller, Amy Smart, Rhys Ifans, Tom Chambers, Stacy Keibler, Michael Sheen and the indie rock band, Lustra. In 2002 he founded Factory: a boutique, independent publishing company that produces a glossy, upscale title aimed at movie and entertainment industry insiders in New York, Los Angeles and London. Howard is the leading photographer for Factory, and you can view some of his work here at www.factory-publishing.com. Since then Howard has published two books (A Home on ZinZan Street & 1914: Golgotha) and directed both Dragon, a film about extreme soccer, and a critically acclaimed 25 minute comedy short based upon his US and UK published column, Meet Pursuit Delange. Plans for 2012 include directing the movie version of Meet Pursuit Delange and an anthology of his published columns called Meet Pursuit Delange and other musings on chaos, celebrity and death.. Howard spent the early years of his life between Lagos and Kaduna in Nigeria and Cheshire in the north west of England. He studied biology at the University of Durham, is married to Julianne Lee with two children and, when not traveling on photographic and directing assignments, lives in London. |
